Cold boot device (cold boot process depends on device) and while booting up, hold down scan trigger until the process starts.Navigate on the device ( desktop > mydevice > sdcard) and select the StartUpdLdr.exe to launch the process.The launch process can be done in 2 ways (either way will work):.Insert SD card into PC and copy all of the individual OSUpdate files ( files must be loose within the root directory, not within a folder. For example, \sdcard\ StartUpdLdr.exe) from the PC to the root of the SD card.
Unzip the file to a folder, once unzipped, you will see the individual files of OSUpdate needed to reload OS.Download appropriate OS package (zip file) from Support Site to a folder on the PC.Selecting the icon will launch the OSUpdate process and when completed, the device will reboot.Navigate on the device ( desktop > mydevice > sdcard > OSUpdate folder) and select the shortcut within this folder where the name ends with “ _SD”.To launch the process, the device must have a charged battery or cradle.Insert SD card into PC and copy the entire OSUpdate folder (including folder itself) from the PC to the root of the SD card.Unzip the file to a folder, once unzipped, you will see an OSUpdate folder that contains all the required files needed to reload OS.Download appropriate OS package (zip file) from Support Site to PC.How to reload or reflash OSUpdate on a Windows Mobile, CE, or Android device from SD Card?
